Jen May is a founding member of Open Sky Poets in the Fox Valley area of Chicagoland, IL. She often attends readings at Waterline Writers in Batavia. You may see her perform at an open mic at Waterline, A-Town Poetics or Harmonious Howl. Jen has previously edited two fine arts magazines entitled Byzantium and Towers. Jen is published in the Journal of Modern Poetry Issue 19: Poems of Protest. She recently released her debut chapbook Armchair Locomotion and is working on her second book, Battle Cry.
